All PencilAI applications and related services are operated by PENCIL AI EDUTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

1. Your Right to Request Data Deletion

We respect user privacy and provide the ability to request:

  • Deletion of personal information associated with your use of PencilAI apps
  • Removal of stored account details (if applicable)
  • Erasure of support communications or identifiable records, where legally permissible

Users may exercise this right at any time.

2. When Data Deletion Applies

  • Has been collected or stored by PencilAI systems or authorized service providers

  • The name of the PencilAI app you used
  • Your registered email or identifier (if applicable)

Providing accurate information helps us process your request securely and efficiently.

4. Verification Process

For security and privacy protection, we may:

  • Request additional verification information
  • Confirm ownership of the account or data
  • Decline requests that cannot be reasonably verified

This step ensures that unauthorized parties cannot delete another user’s data.

5. Processing Time

Once a valid and verified request is received:

  • Data deletion is typically completed within 7–30 business days, depending on complexity
  • You will receive a confirmation email after completion

Delays may occur if:

  • Additional verification is required
  • Legal obligations require temporary retention

6. Data Deleted from Third-Party Services

Some PencilAI apps use trusted third-party providers such as:

  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Analytics services
  • Advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob)

Where applicable, we will:

  • Initiate deletion requests with those providers
  • Remove links between your identity and stored identifiers

However, final deletion timelines may depend on the third-party provider’s policies.

7. No Account or No Stored Personal Data

Many PencilAI applications:

  • Do not require user accounts, and
  • Do not store personally identifiable information directly

In such cases:

  • There may be no personal data to delete
  • Uninstalling the app typically removes all locally stored information from your device

8. Legal Retention Requirements

We may retain limited information when required for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Fraud prevention or security investigations
  • Enforcement of Terms & Conditions

Any retained data is restricted, protected, and not used for commercial purposes.
